Host Farm
NSA Welsh Sheep 2009 was held at Cernioge Bach, a rented farm on the Foelas estate enterprise of 513 acres plus 348 acres of common grazing rights.
The land runs from 1,000 to 1,750ft above sea level. There are around 1150 Lleyn ewes, all M V Accredited - they belong to the Sire Reference Scheme and Llywio Lleyn Group.
A strict culling policy has been adopted and so the flock is continually improving.
There is also a herd of 100 plus suckler cows and they are in their seventh year of breeding Stabiliser Cattle.
The farm also runs a touring caravan site.
